One of the current projects I am working on is a digital art journal. I've been having fun collecting all sorts of fun elements like books, notepads, and in the case of todays page, file folders.
Its been very freeing working in this theme. Instead of thinking of it as a "scrapbook page" in thinking of it as an art journal it lets me stretch the boundaries and try to do a little free form. Like a visual version of stream of consciousness writing. By making the pages a different shape and size than my family scrapbook pages it reminds me, "hey, no rules to follow, just have fun and express yourself."
This is such a fun hobby and I am so glad I have learned so many new techniques, actions, tools, and little bits of digi papers and elements to purchase. Of course like any hobby, there's got to be a bit of shopping involved. (heh heh)
