Synergy Kombucha

I picked up lunch at the salad bar at Whole Foods Market today with my friend Amanda.  Standing in front of the cold drink case I came face to face with something I have never seen before - a drink called Synergy containing Kombucha.  It contains lactobaccillus, S. boulardi, and some other tasty amino acids and other acids.  Kombuchu appears to be some sort of home brewed Russian probiotic fermented tea.  The "synergy" version that I drank was tasty and I swear it gave me a shot of energy as I drank it.  I think it tasted a little bit like a cross between hard cider and beer.  LOL.  Anyway I can get some probiotics is good to me!

A photo post for today.

It was a gorgeous day here in Atlanta.  It was 63 degrees today and 2 days ago it was 19 degrees.   Since its been raining *YAY - we needed rain in drought ravaged GA* and cold for the past 2 weeks today was the first day I've wanted to spend time outside in a while.

To enjoy the nice weather I took the kids to the neighborhood playground.  They had a blast on the swings, slides, and rolling down the little hill.  (They are such silly kids)

Then Ben rode his new 2 wheel bike *with traning wheels* and Adam rode Ben's old fancy tricycle. 

On the way walking back from the playground I snapped this picture of one of my neighbors bushes which has pretty berries.  I have no idea what kind of bush it is but very pretty on a winter day when everything is kind of brown here.

Workout, and a Layout

I am about to take my lunch hour and go over to Curves.  I've kept my membership but haven't been in one and a half years, since I was in the hospital with crohns disease.  I decided to embrace the new year with getting back into the swing of things.  Wish me luck!

Here is a scrappy layout to share.  I just love this photo of Ben.  I have scrapped it already so this time I did a sketch effect on it which I think is really cool.  The kit is the Jofia/Paint the Moon collaborative kit from oscraps.com.
