The Moon is coming back! This photo was taken leaning on the back of my mini-van - no tripod or anything. Wow. This Nikon D70 is really something. 50 MM 1.8 lens.
Acording to Space.com what we see here is
The planet Saturn and the bright star Regulus will form a broad triangle with the moon's ruddy disk, according to Joe Rao, SPACE.com's Skywatching Columnist.
I am really proud of this shot. :-) I am usually a terrible photographer so this is so cool to me.
I captured at least one shot of the eclipse. It was really cool to watch here in Georgia the weather was perfect - just a little bit of clouds to give a spooky effect.
A really special experience. I let the kids stay up and we are checking it every few minutes.
My cousin Helene has requested "more pictures of the kids" and I simply must comply with family requests. Especially since I've gone all advertising crazy with the tacky ads. Its time to get back to my roots and just let you enjoy my cute cute boys playing around with their Cadoo basketball game.
