I went over to the dark side: Jin gave me a used Apple laptop! We finally got it up and running with my brand new copy of Leopard for Intel Macs.
And my Dad is talking about getting an iPhone. This is Arthur who never wants to buy anything much. Put these two things together and you get a stock tip: Buy Apple Stock.
The laptop only came with 1 GB of ram, so I may need to buy some laptop memory but it is surprisingly fast. I need to learn Mac OS though. I really am a beginner when it comes to this new experience.
Oh - a third reason Apple is hot right now? The next version of iPhone software (expected out in June, I beleive) will include support for Microsoft ActiveSync. This means you will finally be able to use your iPhon ewith your corporate email for comapnies that use Exchange and support ActiveSync. They also have support for Lotus Domino too. Corporate email was the one thing missing from the iPone so now with this addition, it makes it the killer app.
But one question: How do you keep the fingerprints off of your iPone?
