The man is a consummate politician and I am sure this photo opp has a lot to do with looking safe and suburban to ease the fears of those of the American public who might not feel ready for a President with his racial and ethnic background. Well, if you were trying to look like a suburban Dad, you did it.
I say rock on to Mr. Obama riding his bike over the weekend. Yeah he looks about as nerdy as anyone else wearing a bike helmet but safety first.
