I was just reading on Time.Com about Obama's Anti Rumor Plan - he has a whole new section of his web site entitled Fight The Smears where he is directly addressing some of the rumors that have been swirling around his candidacy.
One "Con" that does disturb me is that Obama has suggested that his planned early education plan could be paid for by "delaying the NASA Constellation Program for five years." I realize that budgets have to be balanced and that no program is going to get a blank check, however, I think we have let NASA and the Space program languish for too long. Many technological advanced come from these projects particularly in terms of energy sources, fuels, sustainable agriculture, and other technologies that are topical to our current problems on earth. If you are willing to throw NASA and the dream of space "under the bus" well...I can't support that. Cut some war spending or something darn it.
