I've never bought anything from woot.com before but this tasty deal caused me to jump in. This is a website that sells just one item at a time for a discounted price until they run out.
I got a Kingston 16GB USB 2.0 Data Traveler Thumbdrive for $28.99 shipped. I paid for it out of my bloggy earnings. Yay for Izea and Payu2blog. Yay for Amazon.com affiliate program.

In other shopping news,my new washing machine was installed on Sunday. Its a front loader from Kenmore - very fancy. My old one had a broken knob for years and then finally it stopped moving from one part of the cycle to the next. Since it was 17 years old, I figured that instead of buying new parts, I would replace it with an energy and water efficient model. I thought about shopping for a washing machine know but the thought of installing industrial knobs and parts - and then finding out it was still broken didn't appeal to me.
