I am making Yellow Split Pea and Butternut Squash Soup for dinner. I went over to the local Indian Market after picking up my car and got some lovely yellow dal split peas. I decided to make them more European style however, than regular dal since I don't think hubby is a big love of dal. He loves Indian food, but not dal.
I got some veggies at Publix and they had chicken breasts for $1.99 a pound so I got a big pack of those, froze half and have the other half ready to make Indian Butter Chicken. (I have a jar of bottled sauce for afrorementioned in the pantry)

I am working on a new loom knit dishcloth pattern. This one is going to be a 2 color cloth similar to a houndstooth type look.
