I took my car in this morning after I dropped Adam off at daycare. When we left the house it was warm and muggy. By the time we got around the corner to daycare it was POURING down rain. I ran inside with Adam and then took off for the car dealership. Halfway there it was clear on one side and cloudy on the other side of the sky and there was a HUGE rainbow stretching all the way from one side of the world to the other. It was the brightest most complete rainbow I have ever seen. Pot of gold style! Of course I left my camera on my desk so no picture.
I camped out at the car dealership for a while with some knitting (Grandmother's Favorite dishcloth pattern in KnitPicks CotLin for a face cloth)
They said that the sliding door of the minivan (which has not been closing properly) needs a new motor on one side and new weatherstripping on the other. The motor is covered under my extended warranty and they even got me a free rental car until the repair is done. Guess what I am driving? A Dodge Charger. How totally Dukes of Hazard of me. It's a pretty ride - much more stylish that the Town and Country that is for sure.
I am really glad I am getting this done as it was not safe - the door was not bouncing back. Checking your safety equipment is really important when you have little kids.
