It's official - we're broke. I sure hope I get a job offer soon, as we are broke as a spoke. The kids eat like horses, wear out their clothes and shoes with alarming regularity, and the bills keep coming in. Well, we will make it, it's just going to be very cheapy cheapy until I am working again. One good thing - we are waiting for the flexible spending child care reimbursement and that will help pay the bills.
Trivia - did you know that Stephen Jay Gould had mesothelioma (the cancer caused by asbestos exporsure)? After he was diagnosed, Gould wrote an article called "The Median Isn't the Message where he said that "statistics such as median survival are just useful abstractions, not destiny." Gould lived twenty years past that time and eventually died from another form of lung cancer, not the mesothelioma.
