Yesterday we took the kids to see Disney/Pixar's Up. Great movie. As my friend Julie said, "It will make you cry and it will make you laugh." It has a great moral to the story - life itself is the adventure.
My mother has asked me to make her a photo brag book. I am looking for the perfect .png brag book album that I can use for a quick photo book. Those are great for anything from birth announcements, holiday cards, photo books, and badge albums.
Today I took the kids to the park. Hot hot hot. So then we stopped at Bruster's for ice cream on the way home. They had peach! Anyone who has had Bruster's home made peach ice cream knows this is cause for celebration. They only stock it in season.
We sat on the benches in the shade outside of Bruster's and watched the clouds go by. We say a swan, the planet Pluto, a dinosaur, and others.
Then I set up the sprinkler (Thanks for the duct tape hint, Dad - worked like a charm on the hole in the hose) and the kids and the neighbors are playing in the water and with squirt guns as I type this. Cheap fun.
