Today's post is a video review where I talk about i.d. bareMinerals from Bare Escentuals. My favorite makeup, I just talk very briefly about some of the products I use and the techniques to get used to how it works.
Bare Minerals is a great line of makeup. Without preservatives or additives, the makeup is highly pigmented. It doesn't clog your pores or cause breakouts for me, which a lot cosmetics do. I really love the Multi Tasking Minerals Bisque which I use as a concealer. It takes the red out of my face. Even if I don't wear any other makeup I probably will use some of the Bisque to cover up imperfections. (Yes, it's true, I am actually not perfect)
I typically spend a lot of time (and money) putting on makeup to look like I am not wearing any makeup. Life is tricky enough, I might as well put some polish on the face, right? And yes, I blog about saving money, but when it comes to great products that work, sometimes its better to spend it upfront and not have a makeup drawer full of junk.
