Yesterday part of our weekend fun was taking the kids (and d0g) to the park and doing some catching practice. My job was entertaining the chihuahua. He was hysterical - It was hot out and I didn't know that dog's tongue could stick out that far. I ended up pouring water all over him. He had fun barking at other dogs and joggers and peeing on 75 different trees and bushes.
Hubster took the kids into the game field and got them to practice catching with their baseball gloves. We have some orange squishy practice balls and the kids did actually catch a few. Skills were learnes, water was drunk, and we all got nice and hot.
Then we went home and spent some time cooling off at the subdivision pool. Ahh. Ben's birthday is in July - time for baseball invitations? I think he's actually getting martial arts lessons for his birthday.
