Stargazer Lilies!

We have some gorgeous Stargazer lillies blooming out front right now.  This is the first time they have bloomed and I forgot what we planted so it was a nice surprise when the first one opened up.

Garden is Growing!

My little veggie plot has a few yellow squash plants, some zucchini plants, and some cherry tomato plants.  Just a few of each.  I put them in as tiny seedlings that my friend James started in his greenhouse and brought me as a gift.

I just noticed a few tiny little tomatoes and some yellow squash are coming up!  Yay!  Glad we have had some nice rain and that the bees are pollinating some of the flowers.  (Some of the earlier flowers fell of without making any fruit and I am not sure if the plant was too try or if they didn't get pollinated. 

Well, I've been feeling kid of icky today so I am probably going to bed early.  Have to consider shopping for hp batteries another day.

Summertime

It's summer and doesn't it seem like its the prime time for sports injuries?  Everyone's out and about doing their thing and ankle sprains and other ouchies are cropping up.

Crappy Day

Not the greatest day in this house. I have a horrible sinus infection/chest cold. Hubster hurt his shoulder and has a cough too.

Biscuit had his heart worm treatment and is back home. We have to carry him out and keep him perfectly calm for 6 weeks as the heartworm pieces are in his bloodstream.

Ben got stung by a bee as he was walking into the house.

How is that for a big mess?

Knitted some socks

I started these suckers last November, right after Thanksgiving.  I finally finished the second sock last night!  Yay - they are Opal Cotton so perfect for the hot weather we are having.

It is so hot here I am dying - the air quality sucks, too.  It's been code orange all week.  Blech.  And the weather report doesn't have any relief in the heat.  Possible showers after Wednesday but still hot.

I do not need any natural testosterone supplement but I could use some clean air.
