The absolute highlight of our Spring Break trip to the Kennedy Space Center was being able to go inside the Vehicle Assembly Building and see the Space Shuttle Discovery which was parked there waiting to be shipped to the Smithsonian.

Here are the kids in front of the Shuttle Discovery. It was just kind of casually parked there, like oh yeah, that's where I parked my old classic shuttle. Next to some welding supplies. (Just kidding, we didn't see any welding supplies, but we weren't allowed to go ouside the yellow lines for the tourists.)
